Cal Poly AMA is led by a selective group of responsible, motivated, and driven Cal Poly students. The board ensures that the club runs as a cohesive organization and its members benefit from all aspects the club has to offer.

Jordan is from Seattle Washington and is pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. Short term she wants to work in the field of marketing and sales on a global scale, and long term wants to start her own business. Jordan’s hobbies include weight lifting and hiking, and traveling whenever possible.
Christopher is from Sacramento, California and is pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing Management. He is currently in Cal Poly’s Rising Stars Program, and aspires to work in the sports, audio, or auto marketing fields, before starting his own business. Chris’ hobbies include being an avid NBA fan, weightlifting, disc golfing, and any sporting activity with friends.
Karissa is a marketing student with a minor in Communication Studies from Glendora, California. She loves to travel and hopes to funnel this passion into a career in international marketing. On her free time she enjoys backpacking, hiking, and going on spontaneous adventures.
Carlos is pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and minor in Photography. His goal after graduation is to utilize the skills he learned from Cal Poly and use them to open up a restaurant with his mom. In his free time, he trains with the Cal Poly triathlon team, competes in various obstacle course races, and plays soccer. He loves the outdoors and spending time with friends and family.
Kristine is a business major from Solvang, California concentrating in Marketing with a minor in Media Arts and Technologies. She aspires to have a career focused on branding and creative advertising. In her free time Kristine is involved in Mustang Consulting, a newly started consulting team and also is heavily involved in her sorority. She enjoys being outside exploring, going on adventures with friends, and cooking.
John is from the small town of Escalon, California. He is currently pursuing a degree in Agribusiness. John loves attending Cal Poly and hopes to find a career that is challenging and pushes him to be creative while learning new things. When John is not hard at work here in SLO, he enjoys traveling, film, and being outdoors.
Lexi is from Lincoln, California. She is pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing Management and a minor in Statistics, graduating in June 2017. Lexi is interested in working in product marketing and branding, hopefully in the sports or technology industries. In her free time, she enjoys blogging, spin classes, and exploring SLO.
Casey is an ambitious Business Administration student pursuing a concentration in Marketing. She aspires to have a career in the creative marketing field and hopes to join a company that inspires others to do good deeds. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, traveling, and trying new foods.
Brenna is from Castle Rock, Colorado and will be graduating June 2018 with a degree in Business Administration and a concentration in marketing. On campus, she is a Sports Marketing Intern for the Cal Poly Athletic Department and a Peer Advisor for the Orfalea College of Business. She aspires to utilize her marketing and advertising skills in the sports industry, particularly the NBA. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors and traveling.
Megan is a Business Administration major with a plan of concentrating in Marketing. She’s from the Central Valley area of Visalia and has hopes of working up in the Bay Area after graduation. She loves hiking, watching movies, and playing soccer. Her recent involvement in Cal Poly’s AMA has strengthened her path to concentrate in Marketing, and she loves the close connection the club has with its members.
Reese Woodard is a Business Administration major with a passion for videography. He works in San Francisco creating videos for a tech startup and intends to pursue employment in the startup sector after graduation. In his spare time, Reese loves reading about the latest the latest technologies and listening to electronic music.
Michelle is from the Bay Area and is pursuing a degree in Business Administration at Cal Poly. Besides being a full-time student, she is also a University Housing Ambassador where she gives housing tours to prospective students and their families. Michelle loves playing guitar, hiking, and finding beautiful fonts.
Alice is from Palo Alto, CA and will graduate in 2018 with degree in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing and a minor in statistics. She is also involved in ASI student government, serving as secretary of outreach on the Executive Cabinet. Alice hopes to work in marketing analytics and strategy in the tech industry. She loves photography, travel & running.
Professor Lisa Simon, an Orfalea College of Business faculty member since 1996, specializes in qualitative research, especially focus group moderation, and professional sales. As AMA’s Advisor, her role consists primarily of support and guidance, allowing students to learn through their own successes and failures and serves as a major resource for the board members.
